- Data Processor: KamerSchool is the Data Processor. We process the Content on behalf of and at the direction of the School.
Our processing of your data is governed by our agreement with the School and this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different ways to provide and improve our Service.
Information Provided by the School
The School provides us with data necessary for the functioning of the platform. This includes:
- Student Information: Name, student ID, grade level, attendance records, grades, and contact information for parents/guardians.
- Parent/Guardian Information: Name and contact details (email, phone number).
- Staff Information: Name, role, and contact details for teachers and administrators.
Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you provide when you create an account, update your profile, communicate with other users, or contact our support team.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Service, we automatically collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data (e.g., features used, pages visited). We use this information to maintain security and improve our Service. This may involve the use of cookies and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve our Service.
- To enable communication between the School, teachers, parents, and students as permitted by the School.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any User's personal information.

- With the School: All Content is accessible to the authorized administrators at the respective School.
- With Third-Party Service Providers: We use trusted third-party vendors to help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, data backup). These vendors are contractually obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or prevent harm.

We retain Content for as long as the School's account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Following the termination of a School's account, we will delete or anonymize all associated personal data within a commercially reasonable timeframe, in accordance with our agreement with the School.

As we are the Data Processor, requests to exercise your data protection rights should be directed to your School (the Data Controller). However, we will assist the School in fulfilling these requests. Your rights typically include:
- The right to access – You can ask for copies of your personal data.
- The right to rectification – You can ask the School to correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
- The right to erasure – You can ask the School to erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to object to or restrict processing – You can object to or ask the School to restrict the processing of your data, under certain conditions.
Your School is responsible for handling these requests. Please contact your school's administration first.
8. Children's Privacy
KamerSchool does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without parental consent obtained by the School.

9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules.
